Schoeps CMC5

The Schoeps CMC 5 is a transformerless, balanced head amplifier designed for the Schoeps “Colette” series of modular microphones. The CMC 5 requires +48V phantom power, but operates with a low current draw of only 4mA.

Equipped with a fixed low-frequency filter, the CMC 5 is intended to reduce rumble and mechanical noise. It features a -6dB/octave slope, gradually attenuating frequencies below 30Hz. With this feature, the CMC 5 delivers optimal audio performance, whether in the studio or during live performances.

Schoeps MK41S Capsule

The MK 41S Microphone Capsule from Schoeps attenuates reverberant sound and is less prone to feedback due to great directivity. The rolloff of its low-frequency response is offset by proximity effect at close working distances.
