Only used 4000 Series
Depending on the availability of the moment (so always contact us to discuss your needs and check what is available), we can make your custom console.
The principle is quite simple, using parts from 4000 Series consoles we make mini consoles to suit your needs. Today’s studios often don’t need large consoles, but back in the day it was difficult to make consoles with less than 40 channels (32 or even 24 were a rarity). We can make them. Not only that, the channels are maintained, recapped and reconditioned, the power supply is reconditioned or if necessary we build a new one.
Even the patching system and wiring is redone from scratch. We use Signex patchbays and rewire all connections to more practical D Sub 25 pole connections. This makes integrating the console into the studio more practical, faster and cheaper.
The configuration and layout of the channels is always discussed with the customer and the console is always made “to specification”.
8/16/24…we hardly recommend a larger format for two reasons, the first is that in a certain way it distorts the project itself, secondly we are approaching a large format, so you might as well ask us for a nice and ready console…at most we reduce it.
Returning to the “mini consoles”, we can make simple sidecars from 8 or 16 modules equipped with in and out, in this case it is good to remember that each channel 611 has pre mic/line, filter, equalizer and dynamics section.
We can add the patches or the possibility of external summing (in this case we will have to make sure that the matching is correct with your summing), or already integrate the mini console of a summing system that we can provide.
Already with a summing machine, we will have a real console in line that we will exploit in full (including inserts and send effects).
