Schoeps CMC5 + MK41 Silver (Used), with Schoeps SG20 clamp included.
Schoeps CMC5
The Schoeps CMC 5 is a transformerless, balanced head amplifier designed for the Schoeps “Colette” series of modular microphones. The CMC 5 requires +48V phantom power, but operates with a low current draw of only 4mA.
Equipped with a fixed low-frequency filter, the CMC 5 is intended to reduce rumble and mechanical noise. It features a -6dB/octave slope, gradually attenuating frequencies below 30Hz. With this feature, the CMC 5 delivers optimal audio performance, whether in the studio or during live performances.
Schoeps MK41 Capsule
The MK41 is strongly directional. Sound arriving from off axis is attenuated even more than with a cardioid. The pickup is “drier” and less susceptible to acoustic feedback than any other SCHOEPS capsule type (a loudspeaker should not be located directly along the rear axis of the microphone, however).
