    Smart subwoofers are build upon the proven Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE™) technology.  SAM subwoofers deliver articulate, precise low frequency reproduction with high dynamic capability. A smart subwoofer includes a multichannel bass management system, offering adjustable crossover frequency to the main monitor system.
    Smart subwoofers are controlled using Genelec’s proprietary network and software for loudspeaker management (GLM™). The GLM software contains automated acoustic calibration GLM AutoCal™. This is the industry’s first integrated monitoring setup calibration for fully automated measurement, acoustic response analysis, and adjustment of every monitor and subwoofer individually.
    The quality of the room acoustic design is the basis for accurate sound reproduction. In acoustically compromised rooms,  Genelec’s intelligent GLM AutoCal™ technology is able to improve the precision of monitoring  by compensating deficiencies in the listening environment. Room resonance effects in subwoofers frequencies can be very significant even in acoustically high quality rooms.  After automated calibration, all components in the system play back at the same level, acoustical colorations in subwoofers have been removed by equalization, and subwoofers have been aligned in phase with their reference monitors.
    In acoustically compromised rooms,  Genelec’s intelligent AutoCal™ technology is able to improve the precision of monitoring. SAM smart subwoofers can compensate deficiencies in the listening environment. This can be done for any number of chosen listening positions or over a selected listening area.

    The Genelec 7360A combines the Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE™) technology with AutoCal™ and GLM™ control network technologies. Genelec state-of-the-art AutoCal™ allows to automatically align every subwoofer for level, timing, crossover phase and equalisation of room response anomalies. Providing extended low frequency performance, accurate tonal characteristics reproduction and high dynamic capabilities, the 7360A supports a distributed bass management architecture. This cost-effective package offers 7.1 channel analogue XLR inputs and outputs together with stereo AES/EBU XLR inputs and outputs without the need for additional external A/D converters. A Class D amplifier unit is integrated into the enclosure and contains DSP crossover filters, driver overload and protection circuitry.The Genelec 7360A is the low frequency monitoring tool for music studios, mobile vans, digital workstations, radio and TV broadcasting, providing outstanding sound clarity, definition and neutrality you can trust.
