    BAE 1028 Mic Pre and EQ Module single channel preamp built in the equaliser. Asides from offering more frequency settings than the BAE 1073, the BAE 1028’s expanded EQ sections also allow the mid bell curve to be played against the HF and LF shelves where the overlap, opening up many new tone shapes for use.       BAE 1028 Mic Pre and EQ Module

      The BAE 1028 Module is a mic preamp with 3-band EQ inspired by the legendary BAE 1073 with extensive additional frequencies designed to fit in a Neve 10-series console or Power Supply.

      The BAE 1028 Mic Pre and EQ Module uses the exact same mic and line preamp as the BAE 1073 with Carnhill (St Ives) Transformers to give the true vintage tone associated with this legendary preamp.

      In addition, the BAE 1028 features no less than 28 frequencies including the same Low pass filter found on the BAE 1084 module. The additional frequencies are located in the mid-bell and high shelf bands with frequencies selected to allow for greater flexibility with the mid bell able to play against the low and high shelves for rich, flexible and musical tonal shaping capabilities.

      • Mid Range: +/-12dB or +/-18dB peaking with switchable selectable centre frequencies of 160Hz, 270Hz, 360Hz, 510Hz, 700Hz, 1.6kHz, 3.2kHz, 4.8kHz, 7.2kHz, 8.2kHz, 10kHz.
      • Low Pass Filter: 18dB per octave slope, switchable between 6kHz, 8kHz, 10kHz, 14kHz, & 18kHz.
      • EQ Button: Switches the equaliser on or off
