The APS Klasik 2020 are professional two-way nearfield studio speakers with a power of 100 Watt RMS. Suitable for both professional recording studios and project studios, these speakers deliver powerful, neutral and balanced sound with exceptional stereo imaging that belie their appealing price-point and no-frills appearance.
The APS Klasik 2020 are equipped with a cabinet specially designed to minimize distortions. Additionally, their unconventional yet highly effective bass reflex system enhances low-frequency extension, resulting in a rich, defined sound. The Klasik 2020 utilizes a seven-inch cellulose driver and a ¾-inch aluminium dome tweeter.
The APS Klasik 2020 has an all-analog design in the signal path and does not use Class D technology in the amplification path, instead opting for more traditional Class A/B, combining the power of Class A amplification with the energy efficiency of Class B amplification for dynamic performance which preserves the fidelity and character of the original recording without sounding sterile.
Thanks to their two 100 Watt RMS amplifiers, the APS Klasik 2020 offers powerful sound with a frequency response ranging from 39 Hz to 25 kHz. These speakers can reach a maximum SPL of 113.5 dB peak and 105 dB RMS at a distance of one meter, with low distortion and even frequency response throughout the spectrum, even at low levels. To ensure perfect alignment of the monitors, each pair of speakers is carefully matched by optimizing the frequency and phase response.
The APS Klasik 2020 offers a host of connection options with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs. Additionally, an adjustable sensitivity control from -10 to 0dB allows you to easily vary the input level. Thanks to this wide range of adjustments, the APS Klasik 2020 easily adapt to a variety of different monitoring configurations. On the rear panel there are three switches that offer further adjustment possibilities; a tweeter level adjustment, three low-frequency band extension options to customize the bass reproduction and a useful option for solving any ground loop issues on the third.
