      Il Little Devil 500 Pre racchiude una grande quantità di controlli per carattarizzare il suono della sorgente catturata: feedback, impedenza, low cut, bright, DI input, gain e output. E´ equipaggiato sia con un ingresso microfonico che con un ingresso di linea, e può essere quindi sfruttato anche in fase di mix per riprocessare le tracce o come “color box” per aggiungere personalità al materiale acquisito in digitale. Si tratta certamente di uno dei preamplificatori più caldi sviluppati da Chandler, pur mantenendo colore e carattere. La sezione di gain è in classe A è stata disegnata per applicare grandi quantità di guadagno: più è alto questo valore più il suono diventa solido e personale, mentre in controllo di Feedback garantisce sfumature timbriche molto varie. Anche l´ingresso DI conferma le specifiche di livello estremamente elevato del Little Devil 500 Pre. Come la nuova versione del Germanium 500, anche il Little Devil 500 Pre è compatibile con rack e lunchbox di terze parti (API, BAE, Empirical Labs, Tonelux)
