Neumann MT 48 Audio Interface
The new Neumann MT 48 audio interface has just been unveiled, offering the ultimate sound quality for the most demanding professionals. Developed in collaboration with Swiss manufacturer Merging Technologies, the MT 48 boasts an incredible AD converter resolution with a dynamic range of 136 dB.
The MT 48 features two ultra-low-noise microphone/line preamplifiers with up to 78 dB of gain, two line/instrument inputs, four monitoring/line outputs, and two high-quality headphone outputs, each with state-of-the-art AD/DA converters. Its connectivity can be expanded via ADAT/S/PDIF and AES67, and it also includes an integrated MIDI interface. Additionally, four different monitoring configurations can be controlled directly from the unit via touchscreen, and it comes equipped with a 4-band parametric EQ, a 3-way dynamic processor (gate/compressor/limiter) per channel, and high-quality reverb.
The MT 48 also features two line/instrument inputs, allowing for direct connection of guitars, basses, and other instruments to the audio interface. It also has four line/monitor outputs, enabling audio to be sent to multiple pairs of studio monitors or powered speakers, which is particularly useful when working in a shared recording environment.
The headphone outputs of the MT 48 are equally comprehensive, with two low-impedance headphone outputs and adjustable cross-feed. This means that you can listen to your audio in extreme detail and without distortion, even at very high volumes.
The MT 48 is also a digital mixing console capable of processing effects during recording. Thanks to Dual Output technology, wet and dry signals can be recorded simultaneously via separate driver channels, ensuring that an unprocessed backup is always available.
Despite its wide range of features, the MT 48 remains easy to use, thanks to the integrated touchscreen that allows for easy adjustment of all settings. Additionally, the MT 48 can be used as a standalone mixer.
The Neumann MT 48 audio interface is the perfect solution for the most demanding professionals seeking a high-level audio interface. With its expandable connectivity, ease of use, and effect processing capabilities, the MT 48 is the ideal solution for home studios, project studios, and professional recording studios.
