Freqport FreqTube FT1
The FreqTube offers hands-on control with its eight knobs and vibrant, responsive color display. Additionally, the included VST allows for control and automation of all knob parameters. Users can store preferred sounds as pre-sets for quick recall. For the first time, experience the impressive real tube saturation, combined with the convenience and recall capabilities of digital control. Whether it’s saturation, heat, drive, harmonics, or distortion, the FreqTube FT1 introduces authentic analog valve tone and color to digital productions via a simple USB connection. With the FreqTube’s four vacuum tubes and eight multimode hardware filters, users can process any sound and control it using the included proprietary VST interface.
While many plugins attempt to emulate analog processing with varying degrees of success, the FT1 provides genuine analog drive and color combined with the convenience of a VST. By connecting the FreqTube to the computer and loading the control VST into the DAW, users gain instant, recallable, and low-latency control over a wide range of analog tones, from subtle to aggressive, with the ease-of-use expected from a digital plugin.
Featuring two sets of two tubes, the FT1 delivers two gain stages with complete attenuation per channel, allowing for ultimate tone shaping. It also enables the processing of two stereo signals simultaneously or up to four mono signals. Rather than a standard distortion box, FreqTube acts as a color box, offering a diverse tonal palette suitable for creative musicians, demanding engineers, and world-class producers.
Users can use FreqTube to add warmth to vocals, push an 808 kick into industrial-doom territory, or infuse pad sounds with analog harmonics. Regardless of the musical style, FreqTube aims to enhance the user’s sound to the highest possible quality.
