Neumann KH 120 II AES67 Anthracite Active Monitor (Single)
The Neumann KH 120 II active studio monitor is based on the same concept as its acclaimed predecessor, the Neumann KH 120, but has been completely redesigned to improve performance in all parameters: deeper bass, higher SPL capabilities, and even greater linearity. The power of the internal DSP enables linear phase crossovers and adaptive room alignment via Neumann’s revolutionary MA 1 Automatic Alignment system.
– Linear frequency and phase response
– Deep bass down to 44 Hz and high SPL capabilities
– DSP engine for improved performance and automatic calibration to room frequency response
– Extremely sharp stereo image due to extremely tight tolerances (± 0.5 dB)
– Analog (XLR) and S/PDIF (RCA) connections, with AES67 as an option
– Can be combined with other monitors in the KH line in immersive/surround configurations.
Since its launch, the KH 120 has quickly become the reference in high-end nearfield monitoring.
The KH 120 II incorporates several technological improvements over its already excellent predecessor. “It is part of Neumann’s philosophy to never be satisfied with what has been developed so far,” said Portfolio Manager Stephan Mauer, “That’s why we continue to develop, optimize and make things even more perfect.”
A major improvement is the DSP-driven electronics, which enables linear phase crossovers and automatic monitor calibration using Neumann’s revolutionary MA 1 system.
All acoustic parameters have also been improved: the new version has even less distortion, deeper bass, higher maximum SPL and even better resolution. The redesigned cabinet is now made of MDF, a more sustainable material with greater rigidity than the aluminum used previously, and Mathematically Modeled Dispersion (MMD ™) waveguide has been adopted for the new cabinet design. The woofer features a completely new design and there are dozens of additional enhancements, not to mention patented amplifier technology that enables superior audio performance with Class D energy efficiency. The new series also includes AES67 options and is available in anthracite black or white finish.
