Pearl ELM-B Condenser Microphone
The Pearl Microphones ELM-B is a condenser microphone featuring Pearl’s rectangular capsule. The use of a rectangular capsule results in a flatter frequency with much less resonance giving a more natural sound.
The Pearl Microphones ELM-B features a Figure-of-Eight polar pattern which is great for picking up a great room sound as it picks up sound evenly from the front and from the back of the capsule. The ELM-B’s capsule is much thinner than a traditional microphone capsule which means it is easier to pin point a certain area you want to pick up such as one musician in a group on stage or when doing a live recording in a room.
